Espresso-Soaked Ladyfinger Parfaits

These are cozy, simple, and taste like you made an effort even if you didn’t.

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 ladyfingers
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Optional: a dash of cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Whip the Cream
  2. Whip heavy cream + powdered sugar + vanilla until soft peaks.
  3. Dip the Ladyfingers
  4. Quick dip into the coffee — one second per side (don’t soak).
  5. Layer
  6. In two glasses:
  7. crumbled coffee-soaked ladyfingers
  8. whipped vanilla cream
  9. Repeat layers.
  10. Finish
  11. Dust cocoa on top. Add cinnamon if you’re dramatic.

Notes

These taste even better after chilling for one hour… if you can wait that long.
